Welcome!
I'm glad you've taken the first step in seeking support, and I appreciate you considering me as your therapist. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Perinatal Mental Health Certified professional (PMH-C), and I help people find relief from anxiety and feel more like themselves again. I have a special focus on supporting women through pregnancy and the postpartum period, when anxiety can show up in ways that are isolating and confusing. If you are struggling with anxious thoughts or overwhelming worry, you are not alone, and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.
My approach is rooted in compassion, understanding, and cultural humility. I am here to help you navigate life's challenges and support your journey toward healing and personal growth.
About Dr. Vaughn
With over 10 years of experience, I have had the privilege of working with individuals of all ages, and I specialize in helping people find relief from anxiety. My work is shaped by who I am: a Latina, a child of immigrants, and a mother.
Growing up in an immigrant family taught me about all that we carry, much of which goes unspoken. I recognize that seeking therapy can feel intimidating, especially when you aren’t sure if someone will understand this lived experience. Becoming a mother showed me how these same pressures can intensify, and how isolating this experience can be. These experiences have shaped my clinical training and therapeutic approach
My overarching goal is to help individuals thrive emotionally, mentally, and professionally. I approach this goal by addressing mental health challenges, strengthening the relationships that matter most, and raising awareness about immigrant and perinatal mental health.

What I Offer
I offer a comprehensive range of services designed to foster holistic well-being, growth, and empowerment. Each service aims to address and improve different aspects of individuals’ lives, relationships, and work environments.
Reclaim your inner strength, ease anxiety, and grow into the person you want to be. Individual therapy offers a space to understand what you are feeling and build tools to help you feel more like yourself, whether you are navigating anxiety, relationship strain, or life transitions.
Cultivate trust, deepen emotional connection, and build the skills to create a lasting and fulfilling partnership. Whether you are preparing for marriage, working through a difficult season, or adjusting to becoming parents, couples therapy offers a space to strengthen your bond and navigate change together.
Bring a conversation about mental health to your community, organization, or campus. I provide engaging, culturally-informed talks and workshops on topics including perinatal anxiety and maternal mental health; the intersection of immigration and mental health; and navigating and overcoming challenges in academia as a first- or second-generation student.
