Welcome!
I'm glad you've taken the first step in seeking therapy, and I appreciate you considering me as your potential therapist. As a compassionate and experienced professional, I am here to help you navigate life's challenges and support your journey toward healing and personal growth. I am committed to providing a safe and welcoming therapeutic space for individuals and couples that is rooted in understanding, cultural sensitivity, and the empowerment of individuals from diverse backgrounds.
About Dr. Vaughn
With over 10 years of experience, I have had the privilege of working with individuals of all ages, from children to adolescents and adults. As a Latina child of immigrants, I deeply understand the unique struggles faced by individuals from immigrant families. I recognize that seeking therapy as a child of immigrants can be intimidating and anxiety-provoking, and I am committed to providing a safe and welcoming space where you can freely express yourself without judgment. My overarching goal is to help individuals thrive emotionally, mentally, and professionally. I approach this goal by addressing mental health challenges, enhancing personal dynamics, promoting healthy organizational culture, and raising awareness about the intersection of immigration and mental health.
